Dave celebrated his 32nd birthday on March 27th, exactly one week after Luke was born. I hadn't planned much for his party with all the excitement of Luke's unexpected arrival, but Liz and Mom helped me surprise him. Mom watched Luke for me while Liz took me shopping. I was pretty drugged up still, but I managed to go to two stores and found some great presents for Dave. Then Mom and Liz made a Mexican Fiesta birthday dinner and a birthday cake. We're so lucky we have such good helpers in our family.
We then had all the Esplin family over for birthday cake on Sunday. Thanks to Grandma Paula for providing the cake.
