In August, we finally took a little road trip to visit Will and Kellie and the gang. Dave was called in to help construct a play-set mansion which was in desperate need of a work crew. Of course Dave also called in our friend Roger and those boys did a wonderful job building a masterpiece. So, where is the picture to document this amazing task? Well, somehow I never took one, but trust me, it was a lot of work and I am sure the kids will love it.
While the boys were building, Sam loved running around with the big boys. He couldn't be happier than playing with Hunter, Tanner, and Spencer. He couldn't believe he was so lucky to have 2 sleepovers with his cousins. Luke had fun playing with the twins. I think his busy-ness made Kellie glad that the twins aren't quite running around yet. It was quite a scene to have 3 one-year olds around.
Finally, I think one of the highlights of the trip was our visit to this splash park. The water was freezing, but it felt good on such a hot August day. Of course Sam was fearless and I think luke loved laying on the warm wet cement after chasing water fountains the most.
We had a great trip. Thanks for letting us come play. We can't wait to do it again!
